Mowgli1647545497
Don't tell me you broke the T56 in your 03?!? If so: How did you manage to do that before busting the pumpkin and truckload of halfshafts?

lemosley01
Kurt - is this fallout from your warranty fiasco?
Kurt B.
Car got stuck in 4th Sat. during a hard 3-4 power shift, and didn't come out of gear for about 20 min.--I finally got it out of gear, but now I'm down to 1st,2nd,3rd, and 6th. I think I bent a shifter fork pretty good.

There # is 248-735-6220 I had a complete rebuild gears, carbon fiber synchros, viper output shaft, shift forks, the whole nine yards! It was around $ 1,900.00 to $ 2,000.00 about the going rate for that!

Guest TGrant
I would say that they are pretty easy but the tool that you need to pull sixth gear off is very pricey.
Nitrousbird
THE place the big dogs seem to get their built T-56's from It seems that once Tremec took over for the T56, the shift forks and 3rd and 4th syncro's went to shit (this is the LS1 and Cobra cars), hence everyone going with Viper forks. LT1 cars luckily don't seem to have this issue, but they are all Borg Warner T56's. Not to say the Tremec units can't take a beating...........
