Lustalbert
damn, would a small block even be able to spin that without needing a tourque converter in frint of the balencer? seriously though, what is that for? flour/molasses pump? Science Abuse
first, find a suspension that can take the weight. Then, get a second BB block to spin the blower, so your SB can enjoy the boost.

Guest Ponyfreak
We have some 100hp vacuum units that we use that look a lot like that.
desperado
Actually any of the roots lobe style blowers can be used as air pumps of vacuum pumps. I have seen some older Stanley Steamer trucks that were using GMC 6-71 superchargers for their vacuum pumps. Oddly enough, the tow behind air compressors that you see running jackhammers and large sandblasting setups along the road are engine driven roots style blowers with really tight tolerances.
