Painting and striping my car. opinions needed

ok well i went to an autocross yesterday for the buckeye miata club and i saw the most amazing stripped miata yesterday and i was talking to the guy and he said it was just done full body paint and stripping. car was stripped from all paint dents removed and everything and re sprayed. well i got the guys name who painted it and i ended up calling him today and he said he will paint my car for $1500 , damn good deal if u ask me. he will be stripping to bare metal removing all dents and painting stripes on the car. my car is silver and i cant decide on the color for stripes im thinkin gun metal stripes, charcoal or maby a copper

Well first off why would you strip the paint? that is not needed, Second stripes are so bland if you are going to pay money for "custom paint" why don't you come up with something on your own. I personaly think boy racer strips are gay but what ever floats your boat, but 1500 is a tad high for a convertable and a super small car.
