Boost-n-Juice
I would bring the Transmission to you, it's a '95 Taurus (go figure) Just curious what this would cost for a basic rebuild?

GonneVille
Ifyou have the 3 liter non-SHO motor, I wouldn't even bother, I went through three trannies in a year when I owned my POS '90 Taurus. The only reason I kept the car was that I had an AAMCO lifetime guarantee, so the rebuilds were free. BTW, not one problem with the engine, ever. Sold it when a panel rusted all the way through. Boost-n-Juice
Thanks guys. This is actually a car I can pick up for $50, was just curious how much it would cost to see if it would be worth fixing. I know the transmissions suck, I had 5 new ones put in my '93 SHO in a 5 year period. Yep, 1 a year!
large_x7
That's funny cause I have a 94 Taurus with a tranny that I'm looking sell. It has a blown head gasket (!), but I had the tranny looked at about a year ago by ATS Transmission in Marysville and they gave it the green light, if you are looking to buy one. BTW, I would also recommend ATS Transmission for repairs. They do quality work and are very friendly.
