fusion
Rep Dennis Kucinich is on the floor of the House right now introducing legislation that contains something like 35 articles of impeachment against Bush. It's being aired on C-SPAN right now. Nothing may come of it in the long run, but it's interesting none the less. At the very least it's an interesting political move. You don't issue 35 articles as organized as he is without some decent organization behind him.
Todd#43
Kucinich is whack job. Glad I finally moved from his district. This last episode will dry up and blow away like everything else he's done in Congress.

Todd#43
Pelosi already killed it.Anyway, its just more worthless bullshit from a guy who hasn't done anything the entire time he's been in Congress. His only claim to fame is being one of the first mayors to put a "major" city into receivership.Someone should bring him up for treason for meeting with Assad in Syriahttp://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57506I can't believe that he keeps getting re-elected. fusion
Who the hell reads WorldNetDaily? It's a bullshit site. Those are the same morons that ran the 5 part commentary called something like 'Soy is making our kids gay'. Idiots.Meeting with the leader of another country/state is a part of diplomacy even if you do think they are big and scary. If anything Bush should have been tried for treason and jailed after meeting and exchanging some man love with the Saudi King. You remember where the 9/11 terrorists where from right? John
also, have you guys seen this:http://intelligence.senate.gov/press/record.cfm?id=298775senate report basically says that yeah, they lied to us to start the iraq war. Statements and implications by the President and Secretary of State suggesting that Iraq and al-Qa’ida had a partnership, or that Iraq had provided al-Qa’ida with weapons training, were not substantiated by the intelligence.Ø Statements by the President and the Vice President indicating that Saddam Hussein was prepared to give weapons of mass destruction to terrorist groups for attacks against the United States were contradicted by available intelligence information.Ø Statements by President Bush and Vice President Cheney regarding the postwar situation in Iraq, in terms of the political, security, and economic, did not reflect the concerns and uncertainties expressed in the intelligence products.Ø Statements by the President and Vice President prior to the October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq’s chemical weapons production capability and activities did not reflect the intelligence community’s uncertainties as to whether such production was ongoing.Ø The Secretary of Defense’s statement that the Iraqi government operated underground WMD facilities that were not vulnerable to conventional airstrikes because they were underground and deeply buried was not substantiated by available intelligence information.Ø The Intelligence Community did not confirm that Muhammad Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague in 2001 as the Vice President repeatedly claimed. Disclaimer
The whole Kucinich thing may be a ploy just to get press, but I say props to him for at least ACTING like he gives a damn. It's a sad state when the members of Congress know they've been lied to but are either too apathetic or lazy to do anything about it. :nono:
