Dr. Pomade Posted January 20, 2005 Report Share Posted January 20, 2005 Yeah, at least a smaller upper pulley (i.e., the pulley we normally mean when we refer to a pulley swap). I'm running a 2.93" and haven't experienced any problems, and several other guys I know are running smaller pulleys than that without needing to upgrade the HE. I run a 2.81 pulley and I've done some long repeated highway pulls without feeling any loss of power.
