Who Sells OBD II Scanners?

I need one. My Mountaineer is throwing codes and I want to see what they are and erase them. Yes, I know you can get it checked at Autozone, etc. but I want to buy one because I want it other reasons as well. I've seen them on EBay for like $40, but I want to buy one like now... smile.gif

Negative on Walmart, they don't sell them there. The guy didn't know what the hell I was talking about either. :rolleyes: Should have called first, wasted a trip over there... :mad:

i would avoid a cheap one. Even though OBDII is a standard language, not all scanners can do the same things. If you are spending less than 100 you will be getting a VERY basic scanner. I would suggest getting the autotap software. It allows you to interface using either a palm or a laptop. You can data log so you can see what the ecu does. Allows you to track down the cause not just the result.
