Tractor
To bad I'm to dumb to remember to take pictures, but my toyota fullsize conversion is going well. In around 10 hours I've flipped a `79 blazer on its side, cut all the drive line stuff off with a torch, cut all the toyota trucks IFS stuff off, welded in brackets and bolted the front solid axle from the fullsize blazer in place. I removed the rear toyota axle and have the fullsize axle in place and just need to get the lift blocks to hang it. Next I'll be putting on shock mounts, hooking up the steering, replacing the toy tranny with a GM SM465 and making driveshafts. The trucks total lift is 13" so far and will be capable of running 44" swampers if necessary. I'll probably keep it around 37" to be nice to the driveline though. After this stuff is done and I move it from the farm in Marietta its getting onboard air and an onboard welder/120VAC system over the late winter/spring. Tractor
Yeah me too. I've ran it pretty much stock except for the small block for over 3 years now and its done pretty good, but the added flex and width of the fullsize axles should be a huge improvement. The other reason to do it is that the parts are easier to fix on the trail and cheaper overall. Evan
Tractor
I finally got the time and got the truck sitting on its own weight again. Now to make it mobile. Evan
