If the auction ends and that's not corrected, their ebay account will get charged like 3% of the buy it now price, if it hasn't already. I sold a piece of test equipment on ebay for $7900 and to like it with a $15000 buy it now was going to be like $300 before the auction ever started, setting reserves also is an extra charge that is a percentage of the total cost.
