88lx5oh Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 i got my new bars in, and a new brake lever and resevoir for the front. installed the new shit, topped the resevoir off with fluid and attempted to bleed the lines.. i ahve no pressure what so ever in the brake lever.. why is this.. and what do i need to do to fix it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
street pilot Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 Its just air... a shitload of it... Most of it will come out when you bleed the bolt right at the master cyl. where the two lines connect. Pull in the lever and hold it while you crack that bolt. You will hear the air gush out. Tighten it, release the lever, pump it a couple times, then repeat. TurboTank Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 when u have double brakes in the front ive had better luck with NOT PUMPING the brake. pull in..crack bleader. wait for gravity. <<---do this about 20 times and keep the resv topped off.
