Science Abuse
never worked much with that, outside of welding it, and that pretty much involves nuthing BUT exeeding its tolerences. I'm devising some cut outs. Two flanged pieces will come together and dump down. Inbetween the 2 flanged peices will be a gasket (of course), and a removable "dam" made of sheet aluminum I have sitting here. This will be about 2 feet from the manifold, downstream of a set of cats. Spoze it'll be cool enough?
Renner
Pure aluminum melts at 660 degrees C. The melting point could be higher or lower, depending on what alloy you have.
