Yes I have one, that grips on the inside of like a bearing sleeve. I used it for my pilot bearing.

 

I want to say AutoZone, but that is not it, rents tools. Fifth Ave. Location. Ah, Advanced AutoParts, maybe? They have the "gear" slide hammer pullers.

My roomate has one, but it is on loan to a COFBA member. And if I somehow get frisky (i.e. really bored, and get my garage's built-in heater working) I may need it.

 

BTW, Autozone does NOT rent this tool. I think he bought it at some auto parts store on Alum Creek.

Okay, cool. Thanks. Now that I think about it, Autozone has a slide hammer puller that *might* have a hub attachment. I got it once to do a pilot bearing, but the jaws were too big to fit inside.

 

It looked almost exactly like this one:

The hub and carrier are off the car, so I'll just take it in with me.
