i need to borrow a tap and die set

Actually, more specifically, a metric set. I know that i need one that is 14mm x 1.50 an the other is in NPT threa which i have the tap for.

If anyone has a 14mm x 150 tap, please let me know.

More Tools Than Columbus Racing asking to borrow a tool? I think its time for someone to change thier handle.

 

Wouldn't Home Depot or one of hte parts stores have a tap fairly cheap?

I'm not in a terrible hurry, Ricky. I just need to enlarge the hole in the GReddy throttle body elbow so that the new inlet air temp sensor will fit.

 

If you want, just pick one up and i can pay you for it.

Largest most places offer is a 12mm. I have 3 of those, that doesnt help me out any.

isn't 14mmx150 the same threads as a sparkplug? I have a sparkplug tap if that will work

Well, good 'ol Snappy doesn't have one. He can order it, but it will take probably 2-3 weeks to get it. If you want me to order it I can call him up. Later.

you shouldn't need to pay snap on prices the tap I have came in a heli-coil kit to repair sparkplug threads prolly cheaper I got it at napa I think or sears it was in stock.
