Cool, thanks man. smile.gif I'm also going to be doing valve seals here within the next few days (whenever the parts get here) so if I can borrow that, that would be great. Don't know if I'll make it out to H00ters tonight -- I think that the girlfriend will call dibs on my evening. ;)

 

I should be able to tell a little bit about how much it's leaking down by just pressurizing the cylinder, rigging up a fitting with a gauge to it, and timing the pressure loss with a stopwatch. All I'm trying to do is get a general idea about how healthy the rings are. The battery is out and I have most of the wiring harness unplugged, so a conventional compression test won't work right now.
