Science Abuse
i.e. Going down to one big one in the middle of the hub. Obviously cost prohibitive, but I'd still like to know how to do it. Lets discuss. step 1, parts? [ 30. August 2003, 07:43 PM: Message edited by: Driver ]
Tinman
Don't know if this helps or not but Factory Five, Cobra kit car manufactuer, offers a kit that inables you to use the old single spin off nuts on the Mustang.
Lustalbert
using the methood of the spoke rum guys: the hub mounts to your original 5 stud setup. then the wheel fits on the new hub, splines need to line up, and then the wheel is hel on with a single nut ( on the wire spokes, the wingnut is beat on with a lead hammer, your aplication might be difrent)
Guest stevil
Why would you want to go down to one lug? I could see if it was a race car and had alot of pit stops, where swapping tires quickly was important. But anything else, probably not a good idea. What if it comes loose? You're fucked. With four, five, or more lugs, if one comes loose, you still have some other lug nuts holding your wheel on there.
