Guest redz24 Posted December 22, 2002 Report Share Posted December 22, 2002 when i accelerate hard from a stop, i get a vibration that i feel in the steering wheel, it starts to vibrate from 3 grand and up and it is an automatic. i have a cavalier z24 any help or suggestions of what it might be would be greatly appreciated. i am affraid to race it right now until i can get the problem fixed. Brandon Posted December 22, 2002 Report Share Posted December 22, 2002 take your wheel off and look for lines or groves in your rotor, if you have any you need to either get them milled or replaced. and two bad vibrations can also come from warped rotors. either way you most likly need to replace them. -brandon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mensan Posted December 30, 2002 Report Share Posted December 30, 2002 If you get the vibe on acceleration it's definitely not your rotors. You would only feel that during braking.
