650 CCA battery started car fine...but wne to crap and would barely start the car.

New battery is 800 CCA, optima red top, and wouldnt start the car on install. In a rush right now, no time to play. Apon return I will jump the car to life and hope the alternator charges the new battery, this in the hope that the only problem is that the new battery is dead.

If thats not the fix, WTF else would be the problem?

i got a race, need help fast :D

With the 800, did the car turn over? If you get the car running, I can check your charging system for you......or you can take it to an AutoZone. If you are killing batteries chances are your Alternator is toast. Must be that Owned light causing you problems. ;)

any problems previously?

was the battery juiced when ya bought it?

did you check your alternator?

didja check the connections?

!!! were all your accesories off? if you left your fan on youd kill it off real quick. the grille lights might be the problem too, esp if that radio shack switch melted.

make sure theres nothing aluminum near the battery. :Dtongue.gif
