Guest Tony_K
I'd love to have that car as a summer daily driver... I've been interested in Beta coupes for a while now, and a FI model is the way to go. Too bad I don't have the space or $ for a fourth car As the resident Lancia owner on CR, if anyone is interested in one, I'd be happy to help. Guest visualpoet
I liked the beta Scorpion better, but they were both a lot of fun to drive. This one's a good example, (for a '76) except for the retarded Ferrari stickers. What's Italian for "rice"?

Unfortunately, a handful of Scorpions have been "riced": http://www.lanciamontecarlo.net/Scorpion/photos/img25.jpg note the cut springs/bad camber, and bumper covers swapped from some random car! mille miglia sticker = +90 hp! tongue.gif

The catch of living in "the best damn country on earth" is, we get shittified versions of cars. It "can" make as much power as your GTP "can", chris. http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~scorpion037/037_1981.jpghttp://www.josef-bayer.de/roehrl/images/rally037.jpg
Guest visualpoet
I looked into buying a Scorpion back in the late 80's. The guy who was selling it had some cashflow problems and needed to unload it. I don't know what he had done to it but I accidentally took off in third (it had the closest gates I'd ever driven at that point.) and it roasted the tires. Plus it's hard to dislike anything with a body by Pininfarina.
