copperhead
My lil sister moved to NYC, and so I'd like to pick up a cheap scooter to fix up a bit to give her for christmas. I'm not too worried about the condition, so long as it is all there. I'm only wanting to spend a few hundred bux though.

Total Sign
Dont think pocket bikes are legal on sidewalks in NY and almost impossible to register. I do have a near perfect electric scooter that hast been used enough to justify keeping. I will look up what they sell for and send you some info. zeitgeist57
Be careful with pocket scooters. NYC cops can ticket you if they aren't registered as motor vehicles. Also, they need to have indicators, a horn, and license plate. Same goes for here in Ohio.

Total Sign
I bet you 100$ that none of those box stock do 50 true mph. Speedo will say 45, on radar that is 22mph. Underspeed vehicle law- the way you get those registered. You have to reside in a community that regsters them. In Ohio there are 2 or 3 counties that will register them for you.
