NO its a natural occurrence where the egg plants over the cervix instead of in the side of the uterus. This can be a fatal condition that causes a lot of bleeding and severe pain for the woman. If a woman is found to have this issue early in the pregnancy the Dr. will normally try to abort the pregnancy to save the life of the mother. If the pregnancy is taken to full term it is a mandatory C-section due to the cervix being covered by the placenta. This type of pregnancy is rare but most do not make it to full term because they usually will have severe complications or get it aborted.

LOL per Wikipedia:

Causes

There are a number of risk factors for ectopic pregnancies. However, in as many as one third [2]to one half [3] of ectopic pregnancies, no risk factors can be identified. Risk factors include: pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, those who have been exposed to DES, tubal surgery, smoking, previous ectopic pregnancy, multiple sexual partners, and tubal ligation.
