It keeps asking me if I'd like to download the newer version of it, but I always deny it, because I have dialup, and it'd take forever. CRed05 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 I used to have that problem with ANY filesharing thing, so i gave up. But recently we moved and now my limewire works just fine. Gergwheel1647545492 Posted November 5, 2004 Report Share Posted November 5, 2004 Do not upgrade if you at at version 4.0.8 or something like that. that is the newest one. i had the same problem with the firewalls, just disable them and then connect and it should work.
