magley64 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 For a guy who bashes cruisers as much as I do, I just realized that I have one...It's got a 1600 CC air cooled engine that makes nearly 50 horsepower It's top speed is around 55 mph, anything beyond that it shakes like hell...it's got a big honkin' windsheildYou ride more "in" it than "on" it...Open air freedomgood fuel economylean angle around corners is negligeableleaks oilno helmet while operatingMakes more noise than powerwhen "properly tuned" sounds like it's about to die...everyone seen my cruiser? magley64 Posted June 24, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 the interior material is supposed to be that soft plush stuff for stuffed animals...very cool material...the headlights are articulated, I can direct them from inside the vehicle...I'm still planning on addind "eyelids" for the headlights, so i can make it "blink", but just getting them articulated like that took me a couple weeks of fabrication between work, and school... John Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 my uncle has a dune buggy like that. i got pics of me driving it but they are not on this computer. its a pretty cool little toy.when i was about 7 or 8 i remember my mom driving it for like a week while her car was in the shop. the funniest part though, is she was a school teacher and when she drove it to school the first day she had it, when she pulled up all the kids about shit a brick.
