When I was 12 I started receiving Social Security benefits for my mom dying. They were about 600.00 per month. At 14, i was put into foster care and childrens services took, cashed, and did god knows what with my checks every month. It did NOT cost 600.00 to keep my ass as my foster parents never bought me new clothes (my dad had to do that) or any of the items i needed except school items. Was this legal for childrens services to take all of this money when it was clearly written in my moms will that her social security money should be put in trust for me for when i'm 18.
