AngryBMW
That's sad. At least the parents kept her and are loving her. -Marc
Alex1647545498
If it weren't for modern science that kid probably would not have been born or even living for long after birth. Sometimes you have to wonder if messing with nature is really that good. It's sad.

SPLN SUX
Originally posted by Republicant: Heartless. Makes you appreciate your circumstances alot more, doesn't it. No, you want to hear heartless... SURVIVAL OF THE FITIST This is the way nature is. Life is cruel, and theres nothing you can do about it. I give my best wishes to the family and to the little girl. Modern technology will rebuild the structure, but the scars will be more than skin deep.

Bgbdbn
Im not trying to be heartless. I do feel this is terrible. But it seems like everytime you see something in the news at the end they always ask for donations. I feel for the family, this is tough for them and hope they can work through it. Science Abuse
Originally posted by MRMEANR: Modern technology will rebuild the structure. You over estmate modern medical science. THis is a birth defect, and will be a constant source of unpredicatable bone growth for the next 20 years. The formative years of htat little girls life are trashed. I'm willing to bet just about none of those surguries are covered by your average HMO. I see no problem with them asking for donations.
