Bunch of car auido stuff (enough to make a whole system). Lots of pics, 56k die?

Just getting around to selling a bunch of stuff I'll never use, so here it goes.

My Cell # is 614-403-0035, name is Jesse. Call me at any point for any questions on these or to set up a meeting to buy something. You can also come here if that's convenient. I live in Valleyview on the Westside of Columbus.

Simple rules for buying my stuff. No one gets dibs on shit, I see money in my hand you get the item, but I won't sell anything out from underneath of anyone either. I'll deliver within a reasonable distance or meet you somewhere. Everything is OBO, make a reasonable offer and I'll tell you whether I'll take it or not. We can do package deals on combinations of anything I'm selling right now. Everything you see here is just about everything you would need for a full car stereo.

Head unit is SOLD. Thanks Jay, hope you enjoy it.

1) Sony Head Unit. Part of the 'Xplod ES' line. Mondel- CDX-CA760X. 3 line outs (front, back, sub), 4.5V/5.5V switchable. Normal amount of power, never knew because I never cared, always used amps. This thing always had a problem playing CD's that were very scratched. It also had a problem with the screen connecting electrically when it got really cold. Nice head unit. Other than that I liked the way it sounded. Worked fine other than that the last time I used it. Obviously a detachable face, remote control.

Paid $300 new a few years ago. Asking $50. I'd ask $75 but it doesn't work 100% as far as I'm concerned.

Speakers are SOLD. Hope you enjoy them Shawn.

2)2 Sets of 6.5" Infinity 2-way speakers. 652i Model. Sound good, work fine. 60WRMS. Still in box, but used. Paid $100/set new. Asking $50/set or $90 for all four (2 sets).

3) 12" Sub, box, and amp.

Generic box, ~14" cubed.

Sub- Clarion "Power Systems", "500 Watt" (probably max), Dual Voice Coil (4ohms each). Model SRW3081

Amp Prestige Audio PAB-1500D, "1000 Watt mono block" amp. Runs in mono but can be configured in 1 channel to run 1 sub or in 2 channel to run 2 subs, or in this case 1 sub with a DVC. Pretty nice feature to make it more user friendly. Found something online that said 500WRMS@2ohms. No clue where the top of the terminal is for the + power.

These really go together so I'd rather not split them up. Paid $200 on here a while ago slightly used, never used them. Asking $200.

4)Power Acoustik from their Fahrenheit line. 4-channel amp. 4*90WRMS or 2X220@4ohms. “840Watts max”. Drove those 4 Infinity’s with ease with the gain almost all of the way down. All kinds of low pass and high pass options. Model Q4-840.

It was in my Saturn while it was sitting and my sunroof leaked. It got VERY humid in the car and cause some corrosion on the metal on the outside, also the piece that is circled is loose. Neither of these obviously effect the function of the unit, just the looks.

Bought this with a bunch of other stuff so don’t know how much I really paid. Asking $100.

Interconnects and power for all of that. I have three sets of RCA’s with 2 remote wires to go with both of those amps. Whoever buys the first amp gets the power wire with fuse, and short ground. Some of the leads are bent so those might need replaced. Whoever buys the second amp will get the other inline fuse. One fuse is 60 amps and the 4 channel amp is fused for 50 so that will go with it. The mono-block amp is fused at 40 and the other fuse is a 40 amp so it will go with it. But the fuses are easy enough to move back and fourth as they are the same size. That little black box you see towards the top and to the left is a gain control w/power indicator light for the mono-block amp. You obviously get that with that amp.

5)Yamaha head unit. Don’t have the face or know any specs. Give me $5 for it and it’s yours. Figured maybe someone could find a face for cheap somewhere. It came in my talon and it was a great little entry level CD player, no frills. But I lost the face somewhere. Model DEH-230. It was part of the Premier line if anyone cares.

I just sat and figured it up. I'm asking ONLY $440 separately for pretty much everything you need for a nice car audio system (1,2,3, and 4). You might need to buy a few wires or a fuse block if your anal about installs. I'll take $400 for everything. Come and get it (or I can bring it to you, whatever).

Yeha, you can stop by at any point. Just give me a call whenever (and I really do mean whenever). I'll be out of town from Saturday morning until I think Tuesday afternoon, so you'll have to stop in to check it before then if you want it on Saturday. But you can still stop by and pick it up on Saturday or anytime after that. I'll just let my mom know you will be picking it up. With the vast amounts of interest (sarcasm) I've been getting, I doubt anyone will come out of the woodwork wanting it in the next two days. I can take a closer and better picture of both sides of the wiring harness if you would like also.

#2's been sold so I will take $310 for everything else (1,3, and 4). Head unit, most wiring, 4 channel amp, sub and amp for sub. The only thing you need to make a whole systems are in car speakers and a small amount of wiring.

Cool. I'll have the phone beside me on loud. If I don't answer the first time leave a quick message and call back again (the ringer for my messages wakes me up really well for some reason).

No, it always worked perfectly fine when I had it in the only car I ever had it in (and I bought it new, used about six months). From day one it never played CD's that were very scratched. This condition never got any better or worse. During the one winter I had it in the car if it was VERY cold out the plastic everywhere would obviously contract. This would on occasion cause the electrical connections from the face plate to the unit to disconnect when the face was sitting free. The unit would continue to function as normal, the screen would just display lots of weird characters. To control the unit you would have to slightly press the face in to make the face connect with the unit. Other than those two small things it worked fine. It only ever did this a handful of times and only ever during the winter. I drive a lot during the winters to and from ski places too.

I'm up now and I'll make sure my phone is around me. Give me a call whenever you get a chance to swing by.

1 SOLD to me...... BUMP for a good seller!!!

Well thank you sir.

THX again for helpin me trac down that fuse!?!?!

Not a problem at all.

FYI. I went back downstairs with that wiring harness and it was for the Pioneer I'm also selling in this thread. I had actually though before you came "Was there actually a point in my life where I would have used wire nuts". See, I am anal about doing a good soldering job on anything now. I hate using wire nuts on stuff like that. That pioneer came in my Talon so I did not do the wire nut job on it. Funny stuff. Weird how similar they are too. I have NO idea where the wiring harness went for the Sony. I might have acdentally left the stereo side in my Saturn when I sold it. ??? Makes me glad someone that already had a Sony deck in their car bought it.

what kind of face does the pioneer have on it? was it a supertuner III?

http://www.epinions.com/pr-Pioneer_DEH-230_In-Dash_CD_Player/display_~full_specs

Site says it had super tuner III. The face looks right from what I remember (haven't had the face in over two years). Found some other sites that pretty much said the same thing about the details on it. I only specifically remember it being a Super tuner something, can't remember the #.

are you gonna be on the east side ne time so i can check the cd player out i might have a face for it

I only really come out occasionally on a random basis. If you are going to be out for sure one night call me and let me know. If I don't already have plans I will definitely come out and let you look at it. I normally wouldn't travel to sell a $5 item, but it would be an excuse to come hang out. Other wise you'll have to come over to the west side because I don't see a point in making a trip for a $5 item when gas cost $2.60/gal and my time is worth more than that. I'd personally rather sit on my ass and throw the thing away than drive across town to sell a $5 item, but I can assure you that if you have a face that works it's worth more than $5 (maybe like $7 but I've been drinking so....).

Do you have the high input wiring harness for the 4 channel amp?

Sorry, I meant to post this with the original post and just kind of forgot.

Unfortunately no, the guy I bought it off of was the original owner and couldn't find the box which he probably stuck the high input harness in, nor do I have the manual which would probably show the pinouts.

I personally would have never used it with that anyways so it wasn't a big deal at that point. I also would not suggest using it as your not going to see the full sonic potential of the amp. I'm a little bit nit-picky with stuff like that though so maybe it wouldn't bother you as much. Just a suggestion, if you have a head unit with pre-amps outputs, use them. It's definitely worth the extra time routing the cables.

Also, I tired to search on Google and Ebay for any info on that harness and couldn't find any. Unfortunately since it is a few years old they don't make it anymore and info on it is sparse. My only other suggestion if you are still interested and the only way you can use it is with the high input is to directly contact Power Acoustik. I think there is a decent possibility that they still use they same style harness and you would be able to use a newer harness if you could find one. It's probably really a coin toss if they have changed it or not, just depends on how engineering is run in that company so I'd just contact them.
