Bird of Prey
Is it true that you can hard wire a push button into your harness to manually lockup your t/c in high gear for racing in a 4th gen F-Body?
excell
Yep, it's true. But that's a quick way to destroy your converter.
MrMeanGreen
Yes, it's quite possible. But why not do it through the PCM instead?
Bird of Prey
A buddy of mine with an LT-1 is going that route. New trans and a Edge 9-1/2" convertor. I don't want to blow up anything. But him and a few others think that is the way to get the most effeciency out of your stall. Nice pic in your sig Anthony. Lustalbert
I have had the converter on my 200 r-4 set up with a manual switch (used an old head light dimmer switch on the floor) for a few years with no problems. I know, diffrent tranny, and diffrent car, but havent had any problems with breaking anything.
