evan9381
ok. tryin to help my dad get rid of some stuff before we move, i know there was some interest in a pool table from a couple people. i wanted to post in a new thread incase anyone else is looking it is a 9 foot Gandy Super-G . he is telling me these are no longer made. it was purchased from Cushions (on rt-3 by the old 1.50 movies) about 3-4 years ago when they needed to make room for dart boards. it has Simmonis 860 cloth (what a lot of pro's shoot on) blue in color. he said the bottom cloth should be replaced once its taken off because its a few years old and trying to stretch it out again wouldnt be good for it. the cloth on the rails is fine, unless youre going to switch colors (the blue looks sweet in person). he said the cloth for the bottom is going to be ~100$, and will require professional disassembly, moving, and reassembly. if you would like to take it apart and move it yourself, you do so at your own risk (the slates are 2-300 lbs, and theres 3 and youre going to be coming up a flight of stairs). this is not something you want to try to assemble yourself. a pro will probably charge 300$ to move it and put it back together. also will come w/ 2 racks (both for 15 balls) AT LEAST one complete set of balls, probably 2 (we gotta make sure theyre all there), the overhead light if you want it (has 3 brass covers and one green), cue rack for ground, cue rack for wall. table has built in ball rack, and score scrolls (for straight pool). 1900 firm, then cost of bottom cloth and moving, looking @ around 2500 give or take for a GREAT quality pool table. let me know if you are seriously interested. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT5230.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT5231.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT5232.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT5233.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT5234.jpg
justcause
I used to play on this table back in the day. Gandys play very tight, so if you want to improve your game this is the way to go. If you would like to talk to someone who could help transport and setup this table for you call my friends at Buckeye Billiards on the east side. They can help get you in contact with the best installers in the state. The father has been doing setups and moves for roughly 40 years and both his sons have been doing it for over 20 years.
