armin922 Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Last night, i went to turn the car off (turned the ignition to off and pulled key out) and the car just wouldnt shut off. I was like WTF??? Never happened to me before the car has about 46K miles on it. It was weird. I then turned the heater off and the radio off put the key back in and just turned the ignition to on and back off and it turned off. ?????? My car must of been possessed or something. Does anyone know any other way to shut the car off without touching the battery? Or would that still not work? Let me know because now, the car is normal. You should check to see if there are any recalls on that car for ignition switch problems, but either way I would get it fixed quickly. It could possibly be a fire hazard.
