nurkvinny
Give me a guess what a fairly stock 6-sp '02 Z06 with Borla Exhaust, Drag Radials on magnesium wheels, and a good driver should pull in the quarter. This is a hardtop. Thanks
Guest MTI Stroker
12's
Dr. Pomade
Yup, I'd say 12's, maybe low 12's with a really good driver on a great day at a good track. The car could be expected to make around 370ish rwhp, maybe 380ish. So, 370-380ish rwhp in a 3200lbs car. BTW, all Z06's are 6-speeds and hardtops. nurkvinny
So, with a 100 wet shot, we're talking easy high 11's.
Dr. Pomade
Yup, with a good driver, that set-up should see 11s.
nurkvinny
Thank you sir. What is the best website and/or forum for C5/Z06 mods?
RedRocket1647545505
http://www.corvetteforum.com Oh, and there have been people hittin' 11.8-11.9 on COMPLETELY STOCK Z's. Granted, they are hellatious drivers, and have made over 150+ passes in their cars. But, it has been done.

In fact, one guy with minimal mods - an exhaust, intake, gears, and I think some slicks - actually put down a 10.9. That's fucking crazy. Sam1647545489
Vinny in all honsetly if the guy is a goos driver, low 12's very high 11's have been seen. Now toss on a 100 wet and have it hook and a good driver and should see a low 11 maybe even a high 10. Gotta drive it there..Corvetteforum is the best place for all your corvette questions... nurkvinny
Doesn't matter now, anyways. He went and looked at it; it was ragged out.

EVILGTP98
I got a vid that I taped at Norwalk a couple years ago of a black Z06 run 11.80s at ??? mph with some stickies and a Borla, all BS aside, impressive.
Kohones
I agree with all responses on this, only thing that bothers me is - the rear ends don't hold up with the stickies on the back. I saw that first hand at Norwalk last April, real nice yellow Z06 blew it as last yellow lite was goin out! Guess ya need to spend the $1500 or so for a rear end that can take it. Owning an 02 Z06 myself - THEY'LL DEFINATELY RUN low 12's (and into the 11's with stickies, Sam said a shot? Yeah I guess you could get into the high tens with a very good driver) -
