  1. Heh heh, my first car cost me $250. It was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant. Motor was called a 225 slant 6! Also had a 3 speed auto tranny, which I promptly blew up on the drag strip! Before I blew it up I thought I was sooo cool, running like 18's with it! Sold that car then for $100, that's when I bought a 1964 Chevy Impala (wish I still owned the Impala)
  2. Unfortunately it continues to make NO SENSE to me? I'm with Clays post.

    The Interview

I hope in the earlier responses you're correct, that the security of SONY corp wasn't to good. And yeah that most of the security of other corps in this country is lacking. But my fingers stay crossed everyday that no country or militant group will be able to "hack" into our security -

    The Interview

Ummm exactly my point!!!! We have no idea (NONE) how far things have gone, whats being worked on now etc. So I'm afraid (very afraid) of what the not to distant future may hold - Again, just the .02 cents from an old but wise man -

    The Interview

Personally I don't care about this movie. But I do care and am very concerned they were able to hack in to Sony? Whats to stop them or anyone else for that matter from hacking into things like - our defense computers, computers that run our power ie electric etc. Talk about chaos???? Strictly my opinion (and I'm old), but when I read crap like this, folks I think our country is living on the edge right now and there's not a thing we can do about it either - scary stuff
  10. Heh heh, if he breaks down, I'll merely pull over and give moral support and maybe my AAA card - as you know there's no room for anything much in the back of a C6
  11. Gotcha - I was talking about driving between the events - I'm taking my stock 09 Z06 so I'm not anticipating roadside breakdowns?? But my future brother in law is driving his 1976 Monte Carlo with a 427 mtr in it - lol
  12. Thanks - 1 question I have is there's sooo many vehicles do you get to go the speed limit or are you stuck with the thousands and thousands of cars & end up creeping along at 5 mph? lol
  13. gillbot - I could use some "tips" since you've done it? I'm not doing whole tour just 3/4 of it - things like rules of the road? Can you drive? or are ya stuck with thousands of cars going like 10 mph? Any info is appreciated really
  14. I'm wondering if anyone on here has ever participated in this? Apparently they started it in like 1995? My future brother in law wants to do it and has asked me to register my car with him. I'm looking for advice etc, as we are not able to "start with tour" but would join it in like day two? So we'll miss their drivers meeting etc - It appears if you're a newb to this thing the info for 1st timers is somewhat vague?
  15. If "Angry BMW" would buy me the new Z06, I'd sure rock it!!!!
  16. Though I bleed black n gold (Steeler Fan that grew up in Pgh), hats off to the Browns and their fans. You're finally on top of the AFC North / enjoy being there cause it's cool. You've waited a long time -

  18. If you call c/c co, by law they MUST remove you as an authorized user AND they MUST cease reporting on your credit bureaus -
  19. ATV'S for the kids? I'd sure be careful. I'm old & just bought 2 Yamaha 350 grizzlys for wife & I, granted their not for anyone under 16 yrs old, but as you know theirs no such thing as to much caution when it comes to the lil ones -
  20. It's definitely me, but alas I'm retired and broke -

  22. I too wonder what hidden issues you'll have to deal with?
