black00ws6
All my life, I've rooted for the Bengals.. the 80's, 90's, and on.. Finally, we get a top QB, nice season then BAM, a former Bengal blows out his knee. As quoted from his surgeon... "Carson Palmer's knee injury was "devastating and potentially career-ending," involving numerous ligament tears, a shredded ligament, damaged cartilage and a dislocated kneecap, his surgeon said Thursday". http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060113/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_palmer_surgery;_ylt=Au18DvbhwpyhPHJ5RZSrKIwDW7oF;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl Just a sad thing to happen to such a young and rising star in the NFL.... SamZman
Dr. Lonnie Paulos also said Thursday that much hinges on the next few months of rehab and how it heals, “things that are really out of my control and Carson’s control. We need to give it a few months. But he’s got an excellent chance to be back playing as well as he did before.” yeah the way our luck has gone it shouldn't surprise us... but it does sound like he should be okay.. They seem to be pretty optimistic.. He better start wearing some crazy braces when he gets back...maybe some knight armor or somethin from the waist down?.. cant be too safe. El Karacho1647545492
i heard that the ligament tears were clean, and wouldn't require the normal year or more of rehab
BDHG940
Carson Palmer will come back next year, and he'll trash the AFC North.

fush
While Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer's knee injury was deemed severe, the initial reports of possible long-term effects were overstated, Palmer's surgeon, Dr. Lonnie Paulos, said in a statement released by the team Thursday. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2290916
