need a wireless "G" router....

Just as the the title says, I'm looking to get a "G" router. In no particular hurry, also looking to spend like 30bucks, I can pick up.... Lemme know what ya got...

Brand new D-Link wireless G router. $16 after rebate.

 

Another router Netgear. $30 after rebate.

 

I'd go with the D-link.

linksys is all plug and pray... deffinately better than D-Link.

 

P.S. I'm in a pissy mood since our DHCP servers keep on dropping the gateway causing our network to go down every 5 min's.

Our linksys router has given uo some trouble, which is why i recommended the D-link. At that price it's a steal.

It's the router we have at the apartment. It works pretty well most of the time. It doesn't work with Wireless B worth a shit tho.

who has ever had wireless b here? I know Adam had that USB card, but he was trying to connect from the basement to the second floor and B doesn't have shit for range.

Adam had that wireless B USB adaptor and I had a similar USB B connector. There's a reason I ran a cable across the hall.
