"Hey guys,

Thought you might enjoy this.

Put our black car on the dyno. Still working out the tune on it. It is going back on this week.

We only ran the car to 7700 rpm, it will go to 10,000. When it does as you can see by the dyno sheet below it is going to make quite a bit more power.

The car is our Stage 3 head and Stage 3 Two liter engine. Turbo is a GT45R.

Enjoy.

762hp 531lbft

no curve LOL, 45 degree angle......

Nice numbers, Buschur has Cobb Protuner now. $375 to get your Subaru Pro tuned.

If I get pro-tuned, do you know if when I unmarry AP from my ecu that it will act like any other cobb map. I can flash back and forth to it. I dont want to have to buy another ecu if I ever return the car to stock either.

I believe they put the Map on the AP, thus it will function just as a basemap/realitme map and should be able to brought back to stock when unmarrying.

the map is linked to the serial # on the back of the accessport, I gave my serial # to Tim At PDX and he made me some maps for $150....gt100 MAP  I get to data log with Tari software and send the results and he will make minor changes to smooth things out. Then resend new maps out to me. Cool Company!

The turbo is done by Precision.

Well then it is not a garrett nor is it on the precision web site. Just becasue you machine out the 42 housing and put a larger wheel on that does not mean it is a garrett gt45r. As I said Garrett does not make a 45r.

Is there any part of any of my posts where I called it a "Garrett" turbo?

BTW..Companies like Precision make turbos for shops all the time without advertising them as off the shelf, available products from them directly.

All I said is that Garrett does not make a 45r which is correct. Precision does not advertise one. Nor did they say it was an option when we talked to them about my turbo. And the link to the 45r that was posted shows a different turbine housing. So I could cut and whack all day on my turbo that does not mean it is a gtwhat ever. As I said Garret does not make a gt45r.

Powers are you sure Garrett doesn't have a GT45R? That is what the Hks T-51R SPL is based off of. Nevertheless here are some links about the Garrett G45R

Yes Ty I am sure. I just made the call. Garrett does not make a gt45r. They said it is a modified 42r.

You can spell out the verbage any way you like. Like I said, just because Precision doesn't tell you (the end customer) something does not mean they don't offer it to a shop. The example the other poster makes about the HKS SPL51 is a perfect example.

Its just nomenclature crap but all of the parts are the same. People can call things whatever they like but I see your point. You can change a compressor wheel on a GT40r and still call it a 40r or something different. You obviously can't order an "off the shelf" turbo from Garrett this way (which I think is your point).
