smokin5s Posted March 1, 2006 Report Share Posted March 1, 2006 ok, I got my '99 s10 running with the 2.2 litre 4 cyl and it seems to run fine other than it's dog slow and the oil pressure seems to run a bit higher than I like... sitting at idle it is right in the middle of the gauge and while driving it is 3/4 of the way up the gauge. Is this normal on these motors? Anyone know how to test my oil pressure to make sure that it is right. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Clifford Automotive Posted March 1, 2006 Report Share Posted March 1, 2006 that is just fine. not really sure what you would prefer out of it. i sure wouldnt want it to run at the lowside at idle and, and midway through the gears. your just fine where your at. you dont need to check your pressure...the higher the better.
