It's right after the speed limit drops form 65 to 55 so It would be very easy to get a hefty ticket there. Think if you are cruising along at 74 in a 65 (that's what I usually do), and you don't see the signs or just forget. You're going to get hit with 74 in a 55. I'm sure that's why they sit there.
