Sometimes, in the excitement to share something that an individual perceives to be novel and worthwhile, the cerebral cortex experiences seizure-like activity. This "Jacksonian march," which emanates from the left temporal lobe and migrates across the parietal and occipital lobes into the right temporal lobe, essentially paralyzes the frontal lobe, robbing the individual of the ability to engage in even simplistic cognitive functions, such as immediate memory, visual scanning, and sequencing. Commensurately, judgment is likewise impaired, which compounds the already mounting cognitive impairment. The end result is what we in the psychological sciences like to refer to as a "stupid fucking repost."
