Airless Tire great idea but worthless until it can be quiet over 50 mph

Wow, trippy looking. I wonder if anything will ever come of it. They need some lower profile ones. Anyone remember the dual tires a few years ago..or more. It looked like two skinny tires on one rim. It supposedly out-performed standard tires. Not to mention one could blow out and you would still be fine. I actually saw some on a car once. I don't know if they're still available, but they obviously never caught on. Like BetaMax. :)

I could see a tire like this be good for everyday driving but i dont see how they could produce the same effects that a Slick or Drag Radial Produce. But i do like the idea of never having to check my tire pressure to make sure my tires wear evenly.

No worrying about tire pressure, eliminates the need for camber plates because the wheel would flex to fit the surface. With that little rubber the tires could become overheated easily and probably not dissapate it well either.

If they make them look better I'm very interested in them.
