That piece in PLA or PETG is going to shatter or snap. ABS might give you a chance but Nylon is going to be the only way to make that. And I am not setup for nylon printing. Maybe TPU as well.

In 300 dollar range the two mesh point system with the main router node is pretty solid. Installed one for a family member in a 5k square foot house and it covers whole house well and even reaches outside to a pool and gazeebo. Plus considering how the mesh points work most people will never notice the AP handover its fairly smooth.

I have a makerbot that is almost constantly printing something from thingiverse. Read the comments on some of them and the description sometimes it gives nice helpful information on infil and temp settings for your PLA or whatever you are using. I found a lot of PLA likes to be hit at a real high temp or it wants to pull up off the build plate half way thru a print.
