BFgoodrich tires

We have to get new tires on our 1997 Cougar (large RWD coupe, not the sport compact) since I managed to get a huge gash in one of the fronts. Not a biggie since it needed tires by winter anyway.

What I was wondering is if anyone here has any experience with the BFGoodrich Radial T/A passenger car tires? I have BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A's on my truck and they are really quiet and have great wet/snow traction. Are the car tires as good as thier truck tires? I'm looking for a quiet ride with decent handling abillity.

Where is the best/inexpensive place around town to get them? NTB seems a bit steep at $75/tire +mount & balance = $350+tax.

Thanks for all the replys! I'm going to stay with my gut feeling and get the BFGoodrich Radial TA's.

I have it set up with Derek to take it to NTB. He's getting me a pretty good deal on them, thanks man.
