Patrick Posted August 24, 2006 Report Share Posted August 24, 2006 OK. I have a custom built rig that i for some reason, all of a sudden can't get on anything but AIM. no internet, no email. I check all of the physical equipment, change cables etc. nothing. and then i uninstall and reinstall the device as per megamanexe's advice. still nothing here. I configure the IP myself and still I am sending only bytes instead of packets (in local area connection status). I have no idea what to do and I am somewhat computer literate. dragknee66 Posted August 24, 2006 Report Share Posted August 24, 2006 Since you dont know what youre doing, youre probably better off letting the machine find its own IPs and not try configuring your own.
