04r1 Posted September 4, 2006 Report Share Posted September 4, 2006 Looking at picking up this Mitsubishi 57" 1080p Full HD DLP Rear Projection HDTV. Model number is MDE WDY57. Circuit City has it marked down to $2429.00 for labor day. I dont know a whole lot about newer TV stuff out there so looking to get some insight as to if this is a good deal or if there is better stuff out for the money. Suggestions? DLP televisions start with WD. Current 57in Mitsu skus are WD-57831 and WD-57731. A birdie told me that cost on the latter is $1960.00 and retail is $2799.00 so $2429.00 is a so so price.
