andyjs3589
I am going to flush my cooling system soon. I do not have an owners manual and was wondering if anyone knew how much coolant a 99 regal gs holds? Thanks in advance, Andy
nurkvinny
Around 3 gallons. Add 1 gallon antifreeze, then 1 gallon water. Then add 1/2 gallon each until full. At least that is how I would do it; hope that helps.
Guest Hal
I would do exactly what nurkvinny said. Also, I would suggest getting an alldatadiy account. It's not expensive and it gives you pretty good access to a lot of your cars info. It's not as good as regular alldata, but it is pretty comprehensive for the price. Drewhop
Did the regal gs have dex cool in it. I know alot of the bonnevilles/grand prixs had it and chaning it out to non dex cool can cause problems.
90_EAGLE_TALON
If still in doubt of how much the cooling system will hold you could also try calling advance auto parts I know their computer says the max capacity of some vehicles. 90_EAGLE_TALON
Only if you mix it with other non compatible coolant.
