turbomark
Does anyone have any garage space where I can do a bit of work on my car? Probably a couple weeks in the beginning of December if possible. Anywhere close around Columbus would work, I'd be willing to pay rent if needed as well. Lemme know if anyone has anything. turbomark
basically swapping my engine/trans into a new shell... honestly shouldn't take a week if I get a good couple days of work on it, a week would be a fairly conservative estimate taking into account any problems that may arise
FST94TSI
Man Mark that sucks that you're giving up on that body. I miss that car. Are you sending it to the bone yard?
turbomark
I'm not sure what i'm going to do with it, I too do not want to change to a new body either... I do love that car. It's just at the point where theres so much wrong with it electrically that i'm afraid that i'm going to do more harm than anything else by trying to fix it... hell the other day I got electrocuted when I tried jumping it and turned the key. turbomark
Hmm... nevermind on this. The car cranked over today for teh first time in almost 2 years, got fuel pressure, spark, and oil pressure. Still hasn't started yet though, could be ignition timing fuel injector or possibly the fact that I haven't wired the maf-t into a power source yet. FST94TSI
That car can never die. It has come back from several flatlines and always will in the right hands. You gotta stop by when you get it running again.
