Mojoe
I'm looking to borrow a owners manual for a day. I would like to get one for a newer laptop with all the high end options. This is for a friend who had his Sony laptop stolen out of his car this week. The insurance company told him that whatever manual he can produce, they will replace, as long as it's a Sony as stated in the police report. Thank you for your help. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Skinner
has he tried going back to the sore he bought it from to see if they could make a copy of the manual for him from one of thier display models?
Mojoe
He actually had it in bag that was blown up with his truck out side of Baghdad in 2004. But his insurance Co will replace a new one if he gets a manual.
Pedro1647545510
I have a Sony Vaio that I bought in April of 2006. It's not the top of the line model but I will look and see if I can find the manuals that came with it. If so you are welcome to use them. I know for sure that I have the box that it came in, just don't know for sure if I have the manuals.

RedRocket1647545505
I've got a sony laptop from Nov. '04, Joe. I'm in Boston right now, but when I get home on Sunday, I'll look for it. I can't remember the model right now, but it's about middle of the line in terms of options.

The only problem with that is most stores keep 15% if the box is opened on desktops or laptops since they have to sell it as a open box item.
