These are a couple years old, but aside from under the hood it looks the same now.

Hehe ordinarily I would fight for the title of biggest Z nerd, but I honestly am not sure how you were able to distinguish it from the earlier 280s. Are the rubber pieces on the sides of the bumpers more squared off? Btw it's a 77.

the metal extension between the body and the bumper.

75-76 it is rubber and only bolted on. yours is welded on.

and as for biggest z nerd, i know i have you beat.

i have owned every year from 70-87, 90, 03 and 05.

you should see all of my z collectibles. pm me sometime and we can get together.

I don't now. I work for Northern Enterprises and one of the owners which is part of Nissan North and former Datsun dealer has a big Z collection. He's actually a pretty nice guy too with tons of money.

I love the old Z's and 510's. I used to own a 510 when I lived in California. They have the biggest damn 510 meet down there in Orange County. I still kick myself in the ass for passing up the opportunity to buy a mint 260z off of a friend of the family in Dallas.

Here's an interesting link, as well.
