Tips on tuning a carb

I will post links in a few, but first off, are you running an electric or mechanical fuel pump? What fuel pressure do you have at the carb, and have you set the floats?

Those are steps 1 and 2 on a new set-up... fuel pressure and floats.

Then, move onto jets, pumps, power valves, etc... still looking for the link I like to give people.

set floats, set your timing, set your idle screws, check idle and timing again, and goes on and on..jets , power valves, idle circuits, pump shot etc.

if youd like me too tune it for you , im rather cheap and have most holley parts in stock.(i have alot of holey tuning stuff in my pit box)

Hey gearhead, can you dyno my bike? I got a stage 2 coming and I really want to get it dialed in with my new full Muzzy exhaust.

dyno no, its called back street testing and reading the plugs and watching the egt gauge. bike? does it have a holley 4 barrel on it, if so maybe..j/k

Im sure blkssguy knows someone that can hook your bike up.

IMO 2 wheels bad, 4 wheels good! :burn:
