I unplugged it to put in the vette to mess with my scanning software for awhile. Went to fire it up, and the backlight won't come on now. I can tell the screen is up and running if I look at it at the right angle. What gives? Is it broke, or did I change a setting somewhere? copperhead Posted December 30, 2006 Report Share Posted December 30, 2006 I had the same problem with my laptop, had to send it in on warrenty. I believe they replaced the backlight. You can also try tapping the switch that detects if the lid is open or closed, sometimes, i have to do that on mine to get it to work again, might be sticking or something Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
