WTB: Beater offroad truck...

I'm looking at the possibility of unloading the Jimmy. It's an '87 4wd v6 S15 Jimmy. It's truely hideous :-) It needs some motor work (i don't THINK there is physical engine damage) and the 4wd was making some noise a while ago, but I haven't used it so it's status is unknown. BUT! It does have new: Front brake pads, 4 new ball joints, both front CV shafts are new, new plugs/wires/cap/rotor (cap/rotor not installed yet -lazy), oil changed less than 100 miles ago, new Firestone SteelTex All-terrain tires (MAYBE 5K miles on them.) Berto posted a video of my driving it through a river and up the bank a while back. With what gremlin it has repaired and mud tires/slight lift it would be a very capable truck.

Define beater...

Anyway, my Jeep's been for sale for a few months now. I'm not really desperate to sell it, but I've been hankerin' for a new(no previous owners) car for a while now. It's not ugly, but a few cans of Olive Drab rustoleum could change that!

Here's my original thread.

1984 Chevy K10 4x4 w/ snow plow 105k miles

6.2L Diesel w/ block heater Starts and runs Great!

Body is ROUGH black. Solid Bed!

My foot slipped of the clutch the other day when I was starting it and the clutch no longer engages? It was a new clutch, but I haven't even climbed under it to check it out yet.

$1000 as it sits

i've been thinking of selling my 92 tracker on 33x12.50's it needs a few small things but is a reliable rig, gets good gas mileage and will walk all over anything on 33's ;) i have a few pics at putfile.com/stangbro01
