Science Abuse
I miss the gold-backed, cash-based economy...oh wait, that died when my grandfather was a kid.
zeitgeist57
Our currency was backed by the gold standard back in '72. Your grandpappy must have been 2 years old when he had yo' mamma. Hoblick, I feel your pain. Try setting up a small-business PayPal account (to keep payments separate from personal PayPal activity). Removing the "Unverified" status is like pulling fucking teeth. No beef with PayPal, cuz it's levels of protection are a necessary evil in a twisted and corrupted world. Still, the process blows.
Rice Eater
I would have just added the wife to the existing account, unless you were changing banks. I have a Paypal commercial account and have had absolutely no problems with it, I guess I'm lucky.
V8 Beast
Thats wierd, I switched bank accounts and had it verified in 1 minute. It gave me an option to enter the username and password of my online banking service and it logged in and verified it fast as hell. I could see that being an issue if was a smaller bank that didnt have online banking though.
