well the task at hand is a total tear down of my newly aquired 94 KX 125

repainting the frame, going over and checking everything on the bike, and routine maintenace.

started at 8pm got in the house at 3:41 a.m.

took about an hour and 45 mins to dissasemble the bike completely. and the rest of the night was sanding and cleaning the frame and misc. parts.

here are some pics. me and my buddy jason yes beer is involved. what garage function doesnt include beer. and no the natty light is definately not mine.

note the 2 nice 400ex's

Lol.

That frame is nasty looking, nothing some time and effort won't cure though.

yeah it took a while to sand it all down. it will be worth it after its all finished.

and going through the bike, lets me know of anything that is wrong or may eventually cause a problem. plus doing this gets it to my standards, and ill maintain it from there.

don't forget to do a top end in that bike, stay away from wisco pistons.

yeah I had a wiseco piston with less than one riding season on it come apart on me in my ktm.

While cruising down the road to get to the track. Back tire just locked up scared the piss out of me. Pulled the clutch in and came to a stop. I then pushed the bitch back to my buddy's house where I kept my bike, like a mile away. I swore as I was pushing that f'ing thing that I would never buy another wiseco piston for an atv or bike.
